Family-Owned Masonry, Built Right Here in Lexington, KY

#1 Masonry LLC is a family-owned masonry contractor serving Lexington, KY and other parts of the state. We're a newer business, but we bring a hands-on, quality-first approach to every chimney, brick, stone, paver, and concrete project we take on.

Most of our customers find us through word of mouth — neighbors telling neighbors about work that holds up. That's the kind of reputation we're building, one job at a time.

Meet the Owners

#1 Masonry LLC was started by Colby Hickey and Dave Hickey, restoration and repair specialists with many years delivering the highest quality masonry work in Lexington, Kentucky. They believe good masonry starts with doing the job right: honest advice, careful prep, quality materials, and attention to every detail. Colby and Dave are on the job themselves, so you work directly with the people who stand behind the work. Whether it's a small repair or a full build, they treat every home like their own and aim for results that last for years to come.

A Quality-First Approach to Every Job

We treat every project — big or small — the same way: with careful prep, solid materials, and clean, precise work. Whether it's a chimney rebuild or a paver patio, the fundamentals don't change.

Mortar matching and tuckpointing take a trained eye. We take the time to match color, texture, and joint style so repairs blend into the existing structure instead of standing out.

We're local and family-owned, which means the name on the quote is the same name doing the work. We stand behind what we build.

Our Warranty

We stand behind our work and guarantee your lasting satisfaction. Every project is backed by a warranty, and the coverage depends on the specifics of your job and what's involved. Ask us about it when you request your free quote.

License and Insurance

Licensed and insured to make sure the job is done safely and properly and you can be worry free.
